Thanks to the profound generosity of a past retreat participant, one scholarship is available for a writer of exceptional talent who is unable to afford the full cost of the retreat. We are particularly interested in supporting marginalised voices and stories.

This scholarship covers the full Retreat Package Cost (CA$3300/US$2750).

It does NOT include travel or accommodation (CA$1170; approx. US$832).

While we all like to economise wherever we can, this scholarship is intended for those in genuine need who would not otherwise have the possibility of attending this retreat. We trust your assessment of the difference between not wanting to pay for something and being genuinely unable. To that end, we will be asking for supporting financial documentation.

We will be accepting applications until August 30.
