We have a special group rate and reserved rooms for the Memoir Writing Retreat in February 2026. To reserve your room, please email Katie Petterd (katie.petterd@accorvacationclub.com.au) with the following information (you can click the button below):

    • Your full name

    • Stay dates: Check-in February 8, 2026 / Check-out February 14, 2026 (6 nights)

You’ll be sent a payment invoice by email to confirm your booking.

NOTE: If you wish to add a night or two on either side of the retreat to extend your stay, you will need to contact the hotel with your request.

THE LAST STEP IN YOUR REGISTRATION…

…will be to make your retreat balance of payment on or before 90 days before the retreat start date. We will email you a reminder and the payment link.

We will be sending a reminder and a few pre-retreat emails, so please be sure to add heather@alisonwearing.com and hello@alisonwearing.com to your email address book to ensure that our messages don’t end up in your spam folder!

TRAVEL DETAILS:

The retreat will begin on Sunday, February 8, with a welcome event at 5pm and we will wrap up on the morning of Saturday, February 14. The hotel check-out is at 11am.

TRAVEL DETAILS:

ARRIVAL: On day 1 of the retreat, Sunday, February 8, we have a shuttle bus departing at 2 pm, to take participants from the domestic terminal of Auckland Airport. When making your travel arrangements, please ensure you give yourself enough time to get to our meeting place (details to come) no later than 1:30 pm. You do not want to miss the shuttle bus!

  • DRIVING: If you are planning to drive to the retreat or arranging alternate transportation, the address is 42 Mount Avenue, Pauanui Beach 3546. Please confirm with the hotel if you need to arrange parking while on the retreat.

DEPARTURE: On the last day of the retreat, Saturday, February 14, we have a shuttle bus departing at 9:30 am, returning everyone to the Auckland Airport. It’s a 2-hour drive to the airport, scheduled to arrive at approximately 11:30 am. If you are booking a departing flight, please ensure you give yourself enough time to get checked-in and to your terminal so you don’t miss your flight!
