THANK YOU for another incredible contest!
We had a record number of submissions this year — nearly 500 — and there was a very high standard of writing overall.
There are 30 stories on the 2026 longlist.
We offer our profound thanks to every single writer who submitted to the contest for being part of this final year of The Amy Award and for helping us close this initiative on such a high note! 🙏🏽
The SHORTLIST will be announced on October 12
and the WINNER on October 26.
